THINKHOUSE promotes RTÉ’s ‘This is Art! 2024’ competition for young people with an imaginative new campaign

THINKHOUSE has launched a new campaign to promote ‘This is Art! 2024’, Ireland’s most exciting art competition for young people, an RTÉ initiative supported by Creative Ireland and the Shared Island Initiative. The creative is inspired by this year’s competition theme: ‘This is Imagination!’

A visually rich and dynamic 30-second TV spot captures the essence of creativity and the energy of the competition. The ad is designed to inspire young artists to delve into their imaginations and create something special for this year’s competition.

Through a combination of CGI, paper cut-out, design, animation, and photography, the ad not only highlights the limitless scope of children's imagination but also showcases some of the diverse forms of art that competitors can use themselves. The ad is narrated by young people from across the Island of Ireland. It features vibrant, colourful mixed media animations and dynamic collages of last year's artwork, all while encouraging young artists to create, snap, and upload their own masterpieces.

The opening date for entries to ‘This Is Art! 2024’ is September 10th.
